![]() After that experience, it will probably be my last. I’ve seen a lot of performances on the West End and loved all of them. They also don’t have a coat check and the seating was really cramped, but that didn’t stop another staff member from going around scolding people for placing their coats on their laps so that they were barely hanging over the banister in front of the seats. ![]() To make it worse, the theatre is so poorly labeled that some people were in the wrong seats, so people already in the theatre had to move because they were in the seats of latecomers. ![]() They don’t lock the doors when the show starts, so you have people coming in and out for several minutes, which was horribly distracting. Unfortunately, it only went downhill from there. ![]() “Don’t lower your mask off in the corner while social distancing, please wait until you are in the crowded theatre to do so.” Sadly, this wouldn’t be the only time the staff went around scolding people for having the audacity to pull their mask down to take a sip of their horribly overpriced drinks. It already seemed like a petty thing to do, especially considering what they were charging for the drinks, but then when I got in the theatre and saw how they had us packed in like sardines, I really couldn’t believe the stupidity of it. One of the staff members came over to me (violating social distancing) to tell me that I needed to wait until I got to my seat to take a drink because of the face mask requirement. I was standing a good 10 feet from any other person. While waiting for my boyfriend, I took a sip of the water. I actually feel bad for the cast because it is not their fault.įor example, we ordered a water, beer, and a cocktail once inside the theatre. The show itself was decent, but the staff are the rudest, most horrible people we encountered during our trip and ruined the experience. This was the least enjoyable shows I’ve ever seen and the only disappointing experience during our NYC trip.
